Disproving False Religions with the Wager of Pascal

February 25, 2012

Private Epistle #8

Satan has foisted a great deception upon the world through the various false religions, especially Satan's love of that wicked doctrine which promotes idolatry, and declares that a man can be saved in any religion, so long as morality is maintained, condemned by Our Predecessor Gregory XVI among others.  As Pontiff of the Roman Catholic Church, today We consider apologetics from the perspective of the divine virtue of the fear of God.  "The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10).  We shall use the divinely revealed promise of eternal torment to prove the true Roman Catholic Faith.

Either the Roman Catholic God exists or He does not exist, and either you believe or you do not believe.

If God exists then Roman Catholics will enjoy eternal bliss, while atheists will suffer eternal damnation.  If God doesn’t exist then Roman Catholics will still enjoy finite happiness before they die, and atheists will also enjoy some finite happiness. Unless one wishes to die and go into eternal torment, the Catholic Faith is the most rational belief to have.

This wager can be extended to a comparison of the Catholic Faith with every other faith that exists.

It is fitting that the true God would make the true faith the most reasonable of all beliefs.  It would be a blasphemy of God's own nature, and would make God a deceiver, to make a false belief more reasonable than the true belief.  Therefore, unless one teaches that God is evil, and a deceiver, one should be a Roman Catholic.  If you are a blasphemer and you do believe that God is evil, then your god is Satan, and you will go to hell.

The Faith of the Catholic Church and Pope Boniface X:

According to Roman Catholicism, those who die outside of the faith and submission to the true Pope will be condemned to eternal torments.  The Roman Catholic Church has declared:

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence 1441 (ex cathedra- infallible): "Whosoever will be saved, before all things it is necessary that he hold the Catholic Faith. Which Faith except every one do keep whole and undefiled, without doubt he shall perish everlastingly. And the Catholic Faith is this, that we worship one God in Trinity and Trinity in Unity. Neither confounding the Persons, nor dividing the Substance…. He therefore that will be saved, must thus think of the Trinity. Furthermore, it is necessary to everlasting Salvation, that he also believe rightly the Incarnation of our Lord Jesus Christ. For the right Faith is, that we believe and confess, that our Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is God and Man."

"Furthermore, we declare, we proclaim, we define that it is absolutely necessary for the salvation of every human creature that they be subject to the Roman Pontiff."- Unam Sanctam, Pope Boniface VIII 1302 A.D.

Pope Eugene IV, Cantate Domino, Council of Florence 1441 (ex cathedra- infallible): "The Holy Roman Church firmly believes, professes and preaches that all those who are outside the Catholic Church, not only pagans but also Jews or heretics and schismatics, cannot share in eternal life and will go into the everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels, unless they are joined to the Church before the end of their lives; that the unity of this ecclesiastical body is of such importance that only for those who abide in it do the Church’s sacraments contribute to salvation and do fasts, almsgiving and other works of piety and practices of the Christian militia productive of eternal rewards; and that nobody can be saved, no matter how much he has given away in alms and even if he has shed blood in the name of Christ, unless he has persevered in the bosom and unity of the Catholic Church.”

Gregory XVI, Mirari Vos (# 13), Aug. 15, 1832: “With the admonition of the apostle, that ‘there is one God, one faith, one baptism’ (Eph. 4:5), may those fear who contrive the notion that the safe harbor of salvation is open to persons of any religion whatever. They should consider the testimony of Christ Himself that ‘those who are not with Christ are against Him,’ (Lk. 11:23) and that they disperse unhappily who do not gather with Him. Therefore, ‘without a doubt, they will perish forever, unless they hold the Catholic faith whole and inviolate (Athanasian Creed).”

Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum (# 9), June 29, 1896: “The practice of the Church has always been the same, as is shown by the unanimous teaching of the Fathers, who were wont to hold as outside Catholic communion, and alien to the Church, whoever would recede in the least degree from any point of doctrine proposed by her authoritative Magisterium.”

Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi, June 29, 1943: "Actually only those are to be included as members of the Church who have been baptized and profess the true faith, and who have not been so unfortunate as to separate themselves from the unity of the Body, or been excluded by legitimate authority for grave faults committed. "For in one spirit" says the Apostle, "were we all baptized into one Body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free." As therefore in the true Christian community there is only one Body, one Spirit, one Lord, and one Baptism, so there can be only one faith. And therefore, if a man refuse to hear the Church, let him be considered - so the Lord commands - as a heathen and a publican.  It follows that those who are divided in faith or government cannot be living in the unity of such a Body, nor can they be living the life of its one Divine Spirit"

Pope Pelagius II, Dilectionis Vestrae, 585 "Those who were not willing to be at agreement with the Church of God, cannot remain with God; although given over to flames and fires, they burn, or thrown to wild beasts, they lay down their lives, there will not be for them that crown of faith, but the punishment of faithlessness, not a glorious result (of religious virtue), but the ruin of despair. Such a one can be slain, he cannot be crowned."

The Roman Catholic Church condemns all who are outside of it.

Further, the holy scripture teaches that only those who believe in the true Jesus Christ and His true church will be saved:

That whosoever believeth in Him may have everlasting life, but whosoever does not believe is condemned already (John 3:16).

Those who believe in some other god than Christ are therefore condemned.  This includes those who believe in a false Jesus Christ, who is not the true Christ as defined by the Roman Catholic Church:

For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the One you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough! (2 Corinthians 11:4)

Atheism vs. Boniface X:

The scripture declares "the fool sayeth in his heart 'there is no God'".  If Roman Catholicism is correct, the atheist will depart into eternal torment forever, and regret his stupid decision to reject Catholicism.  If the atheist is correct, then Catholics will not even remember this existence or any existence, and will be no more tormented than the atheist after death.  Therefore, the choice to be a Catholic is the most rational decision.

The Vatican II Sect vs. Boniface X:

The Vatican II sect declares that those who do not adhere to the Vatican II cult's religion can still be saved if they simply follow the dictates of their conscience.  Vatican II states:

Those also can attain to everlasting salvation who through no fault of their own do not know the gospel of Christ or his Church, yet sincerely seek God and, moved by grace, strive by their deeds to do his will as it is known to them through the dictates of conscience. (Lumen Gentium, November 21, 1964)

Vatican II teaches that members of false religions, in seeking their false doctrines, also seek God.  The Vatican II cult's conciliar document Nostra Aetate declares:

Thus in Hinduism, men contemplate the divine mystery and express it through an inexhaustible abundance of myths and through searching philosophical inquiry. They seek freedom from the anguish of our human condition either through ascetical practices or profound meditation or a flight to God with love and trust. Buddhism, in its various forms, realizes the radical insufficiency of this changeable world; it teaches a way by which men, in a devout and confident spirit, may be able either to acquire the state of perfect liberation, or attain, by their own efforts or through higher help, supreme illumination. (Nostra Aetate, October 28, 1965)

The Vatican II sect also teaches that Muslims, who worship the false non-Trinitarian "god":

adore the one God, living and subsisting in Himself; merciful and all- powerful, the Creator of heaven and earth. (Nostra Aetate, October 28, 1965).

This is such a ridiculous absurdity no words can describe it.  It is clear that the god of Islam is not the true God.

Vatican II teaches that men of every religion can "adore" and "meditate" upon the true God, despite the clear contradictions between the different gods.  Further, the Vatican II cult teaches that all of these men can attain to "everlasting salvation"

The Vatican II cult states that protestants who adhere to their false religions can be saved:

It follows that these separated churches and communities as such, though we believe them to be deficient in some respects, have by no means been deprived of significance and importance in the mystery of salvation. For the Spirit of Christ has not refrained from using them as means of salvation whose efficacy comes from that fullness of grace and truth which has been entrusted to the Catholic Church. (Unitatis Redintegratio #3, November 21, 1964)

The Vatican II cult also teaches that those who hold to the differing creeds of the protestant sects, creeds different from the catholic faith, still have the gift of the true faith from the Holy Spirit:

Moreover, some and even very many of the significant elements and endowments which together go to build up and give life to the Church itself, can exist outside the visible boundaries of the Catholic Church: the written word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, and visible elements too. (Unitatis Redintegratio #3, November 21, 1964)

Antipope John Paul II stated unequivocally that these false sects all produce saints who receive glory in heaven:

"Albeit in an invisible way, the communion between our Communities, even if still incomplete, is truly and solidly grounded in the full communion of the saints - those who, at end of a life faithful to grace, are in communion with Christ in glory. These saints come from all the Churches and Ecclesial Communities which gave them entrance into the communion of salvation." (Ut Unim Sint #84, May 25, 1995)

Indeed, Antipope John Paul II declared that salvation normally occurs in the practice of false religions, for he stated during his General Audience on September 9, 1998:

Normally, “it will be in the sincere practice of what is good in their own religious traditions and by following the dictates of their own conscience that the members of other religions respond positively to God’s invitation and receive salvation in Jesus Christ, even while they do not recognize or acknowledge him as their Saviour (cf. Ad Gentes, nn. 3, 9, 11)” (Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue – Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, Instruction Dialogue and Proclamation, 19 May 1991, n. 29; L’Osservatore Romano English edition, 1 July 1991, p. III).

According to the Vatican II cult, true traditional Roman Catholics can therefore obtain to everlasting salvation even though they do not believe in the false Vatican II cult.

But according to the Roman Catholic Faith- the traditional Roman, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Faith prior to the Vatican II apostasy- those who adhere to the Vatican II cult will be damned

Therefore, it is more reasonable to believe in the true original and traditional Roman Catholic Faith, and reject the Vatican II cult.  The Vatican II cult unequivocally teaches that denying its false faith will not impact your salvation.  But if the traditional and true Roman Catholic Faith is the true religion, anyone who believes in the Vatican II cult is damned forever.

Therefore, more reasonable choice is to accept the traditional Roman Catholic Faith and its Pope, Pope Boniface X.

Eastern "Orthodoxy" vs. Boniface X:

Eastern "Orthodoxy" has very few defined doctrines, and because the source of its faith consists in the testimonies of the bishops of the eastern sect, which often contradict each other, the eastern "orthodox" have no definitive doctrine regarding salvation outside of their Church.  However, the general consensus appears to be that those outside of the eastern orthodox church may have salvation, and that the eastern sect members are not to give blanket condemnation to those outside their sect..  The bishops are divided on the extent of this salvation, as they are divided on many other issues within their sect.  Quoting their authorities:

You ask, will the heterodox be saved... Why do you worry about them? They have a Saviour Who desires the salvation of every human being. He will take care of them. You and I should not be burdened with such concern. Study yourself and your own sins... I will tell you one thing, however: should you, being Orthodox and possessing the Truth in its fullness, betray Orthodoxy, and enter a different faith, you will lose your soul forever." (St. Theophan the Recluse)

It is self evident, however, that sincere Christians who are Roman Catholics, or Lutherans, or members, of other non-Orthodox confessions, cannot be termed renegades or heretics—i.e. those who knowingly pervert the truth... They have been born and raised and are living according to the creed which they have inherited, just as do the majority of you who are Orthodox; in their lives there has not been a moment of personal and conscious renunciation of Orthodoxy. The Lord, "Who will have all men to be saved" (I Tim. 2:4) and "Who enlightens every man born into the world" (Jn. 1.43),undoubtedly is leading them also towards salvation In His own way." (Metropolitan Philaret, Will the Heterodox Be Saved?, Orthodox Life Vol 34, No. 6, Nov.- Dec. 1984)

The status of the heterodox is properly seen in two ways. When speaking of their ecclesial status—i.e., their relation to the Orthodox Church—we would say that the heterodox cannot be seen as Her members, because they have not been grafted into the one true Body of Christ through Holy Baptism. On the other hand, when speaking of their eternal status—i.e., the implications of this ecclesial separation—, we leave them to the mercy of God and do not judge them. Affirmation of their separation does not require belief in their damnation. (The Non-Orthodox: The Orthodox Teaching on Christians Outside of the Church)

It is safer to belong to the Roman Catholic Church, than to belong to an eastern "orthodox" sect, since the eastern "orthodox" sect admits the possibility of salvation in other "Christian" religions.

Mohamed vs. Boniface X:

The sect of Islam contradicts itself regarding salvation of those who do not follow Islam.  Two sections of their blasphemous Quran declare the possibility of salvation for those in other religions:

Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. (Quran 2:62; and 5:69)

There are other verses that seem to contradict 2:62 and 5:69, and that seem to teach salvation is for Muslims exclusively:

If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter He will be in the ranks of those who have lost. (Quran 3:85)

Now some Mohammedans have subordinated 3:85 to 2:62, and taken 3:85 to mean that Islam should be taken in the broad sense of "submission to God" through any religion.  Other Mohammedans have subordinated 2:62 to 3:85, and limited "Christians" to those who are without knowledge of Mohammed, or those who existed before Mohammed.  Others have honestly accepted that these texts appear to be a simple contradiction, showing that Mohammed's sect is false.

Thus, after all this, what we can say is that Mohammedanism appears to allow for the possibility of the salvation of non-Muslims, depending on which interpretation of their blasphemous and contradictory Quran is chosen.

It is clear that the Roman Catholic faith must be followed, rather than the sect of Mohammed which allows for salvation outside of its false religion.  It is safer to belong to the Church of Christ rather than the sect of Mohammed that teaches salvation in false religions.  Certain sects of Mohammed allow for the possible salvation of non-Muslims, but the Roman Catholic Church proclaims that all Muslims are condemned to hell along with every false religion, unless they convert to Roman Catholicism.

Liberal Protestantism vs. Boniface X

There are innumerable sects in Protestantism.  The salutary fear of eternal torment is rejected by the liberal versions of them.  In fact, many of these ridiculous sects even teach universal salvation.  Obviously it is safer to be in submission to Pope Boniface X and a Roman Catholic.

Hinduism/Heathenism vs. Boniface X

Finally, there is what would seem to be the most absurd group of them all, those known as the heathens, also commonly referred to today as the Hindus.  This group generally accepts the doctrine of "transmigration": that the soul passes to many different worlds and is never eternally damned to one place.  Obviously it is far safer to accept Roman Catholicism.  If the Roman Catholic faith is right, then the Hindus are damned forever after death.  If the Hindus are correct, then souls believing in Roman Catholicism will be reborn in good realms after due time.
